The island’s makers
Every object tells a story
In Sardinia, craft is inheritance. Patterns, techniques and recipes pass from parent to child, village to village. These are some of the traditions we love most, and the kind of makers we visit on our journeys.
Ceramics
Ceramics
Sardinian pottery runs deep, especially in towns like Assemini. Glazed jugs and amphorae, shaped by hand, still echo the vessels once used to carry water from the island's springs.

- Annular AmphoraInspired by the ring-shaped vessels once used to carry spring water on journeys. Made entirely by hand in polychrome glazed ceramic.
Textiles
Textiles
Island weaving is full of symbols: stylized horses, birds and geometric motifs passed down through generations, now reimagined in bold contemporary designs.
